What NDAA Section 848 Actually Requires
The Standard Most Manufacturers Don't Meet
Section 848 of the FY2020 NDAA prohibits DoD from procuring UAS manufactured by covered foreign entities, primarily Chinese manufacturers including DJI, Autel, and their component suppliers. The restriction covers the platform and every covered component inside it.
